Aims
A voluntary and democratic teacher lead group focusing on teaching initiatives, practice and issues that colleagues deem important.
To provide a sustainable forum for the sharing of practice in a non-threatening and supportive environment.
To make available to all colleagues examples of good practice, if possible, adapted to suit all subject areas through a variety of media and insets.
Recognise and highlight the value of sharing practice and its role in promoting a sustainable work-life balance.
To bridge curriculum boundaries, develop cross-curricular partnerships, and support the role of all curriculum areas in the development of students.
To encourage colleagues to think outside of their comfort zones and take ‘risks’ within their practice, as a catalyst for individual personal development and the promotion of student learning and progress.
To create a positive, informative and enjoyable forum.
