Aims

 

  • We aim to be a voluntary, and democratic, teacher lead group, focusing on teaching initiatives, practice and issues within geographical education that colleagues deem important. 

  • We aim to provide a sustainable forum for the sharing of practice in a non-threatening and supportive environment.

  • We aim to encourage, and support, colleagues to think outside of their comfort zones and take ‘risks’ with their practice, as a catalyst for personal development, and for the promotion of engaging and effective student learning within Geography.

  • We aim to encourage the contribution of all practitioners, irrespective of their perspective/s or classroom experience.

  • We aim to create a positive, informative and enjoyable forum.
